Hi, I would have some one check your VENT PIPE . It could be blocked by a bird nest.Good LuckWhen I flush my toilet I can hear it in the bath tub drain. How can I fix it?
Basically you cannot fix this without a plumber. If you own the house,
call a licensed plumber in to evaluate the drains and plumbing vents in your bathroom.
Ideally, the toilet and tub are routed in such a way that there is enough grade in the piping to keep back flush from happening.
Sound on the other hand usually is due to a common plumbing vent
between the tub and the toilet that lets air replace the water being
flushed down the drains.
If it really bothers you, your local plumber can open the floors and walls and re-pipe.When I flush my toilet I can hear it in the bath tub drain. How can I fix it?
over here in uk if you stick your head next to plughole then you all so have a good chance of hearing water flowing ...the sounds travel very well through water the waste pipe from bath is connected to the main soil pipe further down the line ..here its normal as the bath has a trap below and smells con not escape ..im sure over where you are they have to connect to the same exit pipe check under bath as you may have a shallow trap
Jim , the plumber that the contractor hired when building your house has crap for brains . He did a very shoddy job on installing your piping system . Unfortunately , this is a very expensive repair , I'm talking $ 3,000 or even higher .
sounds like one of three problems either you have a blocked vent or your tub was installed without a trap try filling up your tub then remove the stopper and then flush the toilet get bubbles? if bubbles pushed up through ur drain u better call a plumber
somebody must have flushed something not decomposable down the toilet, so u would need to call a plumber.
could be the design of your drainage system, If there is a leak somewhere, the sewage will stink something awful. I'd go with a plumber as it could compromise your drinking water line.
that sounds normal im assuming all the plumbing in your bathroom is connected some how just makes sense and y does it matter if you can hear that toilet in the bath tub
I have had this problem recently....getting a lot of rain here and it filled up the septic tank....sound to me you need to get your septic tank pumped out. Good luck with that...
Hey mine too, but when the septic tank gets pumped out it stops. some thing to do with ventilation
