How do i fix a bath tub fixtures?

shut the water off drain the pipes and then pop the caps off the knobs and remove the screws replace and cover. How do i fix a bath tub fixtures?
Depends on what is wrong with it.

If it drips and is of the older style, one handle for hot, one for cold(if not, see below)

Before starting, go to a hardware store and get an assorted faucet washer kit. You shut off the water where it comes into the house (otherwise you'll get an unscheduled bath) and take the valve apart. Usually, you need to unscrew the screw in the center of the knob, which is usually hidden under a snap-in cap. Then, unscrew the large chrome dome. Next, you need to unscrew a smaller device, which is under the big dome. Then, you open the valve and keep opening until you have the innards in your hand. Then you remove the screw at the bottom of the valve mechanism, and replace the rubber or neoprene faucet washer, cone side out.

Now, put the valve back together in reverse order. Close the valve and turn the water back.

If it still drips you need to resurface the valve seat. You get a water valve seat grinder at the hardware store. It works in an electric drill. Go through the process of taking the valve apart, put the grinder in a drill, stick it into the center of the drill and turn the drill on for about two minutes.

If you have a ceramic valve, you must get a kit. This has to be the right one for the valve, so you need to take the innards out of the valve and take it to the hardware store for matching. The kit comes with instructions, but unless you know the make and model of the valve, you will have to disassemble the valve before buying the kit.How do i fix a bath tub fixtures?
You didn't say what kind problem you are having.

Here is one thing that may be the problem.

Clog drain....remove the cap and look down into it. If you see hair get a needle nose and use it to pull out the hair.

Shut water off take H and C button caps off with knife blade, Then take screw driver and remove knobs. Then you will need a plumbers socket for the faucet type recessed in the wall, purchase this at the hardware. Remove stem assembly and replace washer, and check seat face the washer sits against, it may be chipped. Match parts needed to stem at the hardware or plumbing supply.
