7 months pregnant Can I take a TUB BATH?

Im 7 months pregnant. Im curiouse to know if i can take a tub bath. My body just hurts to stand for a long time, and even worse to bend over. So can i soak in a tub, or is this a not a good idea for a pregnant lady?7 months pregnant Can I take a TUB BATH?
Yes you can take a tub bath. It would probably help you relax a little. Don't get the water too hot though...warm is best.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE TUB. The reason many doctors advise against baths is because of falls. Let someone help you get in and out. It's best.

AGAIN...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL.7 months pregnant Can I take a TUB BATH?
You can soak in the tub as long as the water is not too hot. Warm is best. My OB told me if you start to sweat its too hot so get out and cool off quick. If you get overheated, your blood rushes to your skin to cool you off and the baby is deprived of oxygen, etc.

I took warm tub soaks every night when pregnant, but I was careful not to get too hot. In general, when you are pregnant you must be careful not to get too overheated. That's why doctors advise NO HOT TUBS and no saunas, etc.
It's ok as long as the water is not too hot so you don't overheat. Very relaxing when you pregnant to be able to soak in a big bubble bath!!!
It's perfectly safe to have a warm bath, just make sure the water is not hot. Pregnant women should not soak in hot tubs, but there's nothing wrong with taking a bath.
It's totally fine :)

It was long believed that it was not okay, as water might enter the vagina and cause an infection. It's now know that that's not true, and the only time during pregnancy that you shouldn't take a bath is after your water breaks :) Just make sure the water isn't too hot, it's not good for your body to over heat.
I don't think it's anything wrong with that at least I hope not since I'm five months pregnant and do this every night.
Sure. Like the previous posters said, be really careful getting in and out.

You can take tub baths until your water breaks.

And some people even go through labor and delivery in tubs, with medical supervision.
Yes, just make sure it's not steaming hot - you don't want to elevate your body temp.

But yes, you can have a really great, warm, almost hot bath.
It should be fine I did it when I was pregnant and it felt good. The say not to use a spa because of the constant temperature. Just be careful that you can get in and out safely. Enjoy : - )
Yes you can soak in a tub in warm water not to hot like steaming or anything just warm people even have babies in the tub because it is relaxing it won't hurt you or the baby
Well went into labor they had a Jacuzzi tub in my room. And I used that the whole day off and on. The answer is yes it's okay to take bath I used to take 3 and 4 times a day the bigger I got it help allot with all the body aches yada...
I loved to take tub baths when I was pregnant. It relaxed my body and muscles and made my feel great. Just don't make the water too hot. 100 to 105 is more than warm enough.
Its not a problem taking a bath now. Just make sure you are able to get in and out safely - i had a friend slip that way
I've heard both sides. I've heard people say it's bad cause it can put you into labor, and then I've also heard people say that it's fine because it helps relax sore muscles. You should ask your doctor their opinion.
