Should i feel the sink or bath tub with water with an expecting freeze coming?

lol NO! What you do is turn the tap on cool, not cold or hot, cool and leave it on a slight stream. You turn the faucet on that is furthest from the water heater too.

Leave it on until it gets back up into the upper teens or 20'sShould i feel the sink or bath tub with water with an expecting freeze coming?
Why? It's not as though the municipal water supply is going to suddenly freeze, depriving the city of drinking water.

And even if you get your water from a well, the well is deep enough that the water isn't going to freeze.

Your pipes should be fine so long as you keep using the sinks and such. The only time you have pipes freezing is if the water isn't moving for a long period of time and it gets cold enough in your basement or crawlspace to freeze the water in your pipes.Should i feel the sink or bath tub with water with an expecting freeze coming?
doing that won't stop the pipes from freezing ,just let the water drip and keep the water moving will help .both cold and hot , or if your only talking about your supply line than just the cold will do. let it drip .
I`d be more concerned about protecting pipes that could possibly freeze! If you expect your pipes to freeze, by all means fill your tub for water for doing dishes etc. Fill up some containers for cooking also.
