Why is it that farts tend to smell much worse when you are soaking in a bath tub?

Partially dissolved bubbles, float with moisture , and tends to linger a bit longer, at a lower level, and gets more easily dissolved in the smell glands (already moist) in the nose, making the smell to be retained longer and deeper !Why is it that farts tend to smell much worse when you are soaking in a bath tub?

Because your fart is encapsulated in a bubble. When in the bath tub you are probably sitting down when you fart, so there is a good possibility the bubble might come up to your front and 'pops' right below your nose, making you smell your own very concentrated fart.

Cause you're cleaner than usual and the other smells don't mask your stupid farts like they usually do.
